With Growth Comes Contraction

Shaking things loose will allow the things in your life to move more freely.

Desiring your life to look and feel differently starts from feeling the contrast of how you’re experiencing life right now.

The heavy and sinking sensations overwhelm your ability to experience the expansiveness and the opportunities that within your grasp.

The desire for change still resides within you, but you are looking for support in getting you to the next step on your journey.

This first step of having awareness that something in your life needs to change, you begin unlearning the stories you’ve be taught to listen to and follow.

You start opening yourself up to another way of doing things. You explore more about what fits into your life and how you want to live more authentically.

As your awareness shifts into expanding your worldview, you also recognize how others in your life also have stories which sound similar to you, but not comforted by them at all.

You want to break free from what other people are doing and saying and cultivate something for your life which emanates from your heart and can be shared with others so they can also break out from the mold they were casted in.

Experiencing this openness to deepening your self awareness, you can reimagine the life you want to live.

You can envision spending heart centered time with your friends and family.

You can see how a loving relationship with your dog expands into how you can live a more integrated life too.

You take the next step and take action building a new understanding that truly resonates with you.

You read all the books about understanding the emotional lives of dogs and the impact on the bond with humans.

Books like:

“Dog is Love”

“The Other End of the Leash”

Reading books and watching how to videos on learning a skill is a wonderful first step.

Your exposure to this new way of life gets you excited.

But you’ve hit a roadblock.

Your gremlin shows up and tells you “this isn’t going to work” or even questions why do you want to change in the first place.

You even wonder, if what the books share are true, why isn’t this part of the larger picture.

You ask, “why aren’t more people talking about this!”

Now, the forward momentum starts grinding to a halt in the pendulum swing going back towards what you’ve known in order to keep you from growing.

With growth comes contraction and is totally normal. This is the space where you make the choice again. To move forward or to go back to where you were.

The books and videos don’t provide you with support and understanding when you’re feeling contracted.

When contraction hits and you want to turn around, receiving a higher level of support through a coaching partnership moves beyond the teacher trainings.

Our partnership gives you a safe place to explore where you want to go on your journey.

You get to receive connected conversations, space for self reflection and introspection and of course opportunities to take action in moving through your tailored training and action plan.

I serve individuals and families that are no longer putting themselves on the back burner. They are willing to recommit to themselves, so they can fully show up and live from a place of exploration, connection and gratitude.

If you’re curious about how a higher level of support can guide you towards deepening relationships with others and the dogs in your life, set up a Discovery Call with me!
