Inspired By You

Over the past couple of years, I started recognizing the limitations by being boxed in as a dog trainer or behavior consultant.

I was noticing I wasn’t just working with the person to teach their dog certain skills.

When I entered their world, I saw it wasn’t just about teaching sit, down, come or anything else.

I saw something deeper going on.

The individuals and families I serve experienced deep pain and the feelings of frustration, anger, sadness and even grief showed up again and again.

The emotional pain could no longer be ignored or avoided.

These deep feelings were influencing how the person showed up for their dogs.

They were avoidant of what their dog needed. This led to more worry and anxieties about what their dog is doing.

They felt stuck. Fearful of taking action because they were unsure if they would be successful and not doing anything gave space for their dogs to continue practicing behaviors their person didn’t want them to do.

Sometimes even, people were so angry with their dogs that yelling at their dog resulted in their dog feeling scared of their person which also led their dog doing things trying to seek out relief from the fear too.

Then pangs of guilt showed up because the person didn’t want to feel out of control anymore.

They didn’t trust themselves and therefore, they didn’t trust their dogs.

Confidence plummeted.

The cycle continued.

As I started recognizing the emotional pain the families I serve are experiencing, I started shifting gears.

In order for people to experience joy, fulfillment and ease, I was drawn into normalizing and exploring the heavy feelings while guiding them into what they desired.

As we embarked on the journey together, they started recognizing for themselves how tapping into their inner knowing, recognizing they have the power to choose how they want to feel and then taking steps with that new found energy in how they interact with their dogs.

One client recently shared with me, “Looking back on my own learning experience during these weekly sessions with Katherine, I realize that I came away with a clearer, perhaps even a new understanding-a shifting of my own perspective from what I want or how I want a dog to behave, to how any dog is merely seeking to alleviate anxieties and fears and fulfill his or her own needs just as I am, and that recognition in and of itself reveals a clear path to success.”

Boom!

What people get to receive from working with me is a greater connection with themselves, discovering they have the power to choose how they get to move in this world and by doing the inner work, they experience the joy, ease and a fulfilling life with their dogs and others around them.

They create the life they want!

The families I serve inspire me every day.

The inspiration I get to receive from their transformation propels me to change how I show up for others and how I get to impact the lives of others.

This is why I am so passionate about guiding people back to themselves so they can create the deep connections with those they care about the most.

Do you desire transformation and to begin trusting your inner knowing?

You too can shift gears and discover how a new way of living in this world can greatly impact not only your life, but the lives of people and the pets around you.
